Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle’s $34 million bed tower, which opened in May 2005, expands and upgrades the hospital campus and enhances patient accommodations. The new 167,000-square-foot structure has 151 patient rooms, each with private accommodations.
Spacious rooms that are three times the size of the rooms in other parts of the hospital
An automated prescription delivery and tracking system that makes the delivery of medications more safe and efficient
An integrated communication network that can reach nurses and other health care staff anywhere in the hospital and allows them to speak with their patients directly
And a labor and delivery department that houses:
Labor/delivery/recovery suites that are large enough to allow mothers, their new babies and family members to spend the night in the same room
A well baby nursery
An advanced infant security system
Since joining the Baptist Memorial Health Care system in 1993, Baptist Golden Triangle has undergone several expansion projects. The original 35-year lease called for an investment of $40 million during the length of the contract. Baptist has surpassed that requirement in fewer than 10 years, investing more than $100 million into the facility.
In keeping with the three-fold ministry of Christ - preaching, teaching and healing - Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation will be the leader in providing quality health care.
